CANADA - An inmate at Ontario's Joyceville penitentiary who died Wednesday, and three others who remain in hospital, had been drinking homemade brew, Corrections Canada said Thursday. < "At approximately 4:49 p.m. ... Joyceville Institution staff discovered that four inmates were in varying stages of medical distress," a Corrections Canada release stated. Three of the men remain in hospital. The fourth, Christopher Morriseau, who was serving a two-year, nine-month sentence for aggravated assault, was pronounced dead at the prison, located north of Kingston, Ont. Read more.
