OHIO - A multi-county corrections facility for juvenile offenders has been accredited by the American Correctional Association. The Juvenile Residential Center of Northwest Ohio on North Dunbridge Road serves young offenders from Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, Williams, and Wood counties. The Ohio Department of Youth Services facility underwent a two-day audit by the association, which gave it a score of 100 percent for both the 26 mandatory and 266 nonmandatory standards. Read more.
