ARIZONA - For the second time, several land use issues relating to a proposed private prison near Dolan Springs, forced a postponement at Monday's Mohave County supervisors' meeting. Because of District 1 Sup. Pete Byers' absence from Monday's board meeting due to an illness, District 2 Sup. Tom Sockwell suggested delaying the issue until Byers' return. The proposed prison would be built in Byers' supervisor district. The two remaining supervisors agreed to postpone a change to the county's general plan and the Dolan Springs Area Plan for the prison.
