Maine gets $10 mill. for homeless

MAINE - Maine will receive federal grants of more than $10 million to help the state's homeless.

Gov. John Baldacci said the money from the Department of Housing and Urban Development will go to counseling, job training, child care, emergency shelters, transitional housing and support services for the homeless. Read more.
