| Inmates celebrate milestone |

IDAHO - Inmates at an Idaho corrections facility celebrated a positive milestone today. The Southern Idaho Correction Institution gave 38 inmates their very own graduation Tuesday. 17 men earned their GED while the others earned technical or vocational honors. An analysis by a public policy group in Washington State says spending money to educate inmates can help. For every tax dollar spent on education there is a return of more than $10 as former inmates join the workforce. Read more.
