CALIFORNIA - Paso Robles officials are struggling to find answers to their questions about a re-entry facility for state prison parolees that could be housed at what’s now El Paso de Robles Youth Correctional Facility. The city is suddenly in the middle of a statewide effort to revamp the way prisoners are paroled into their communities, officials said Tuesday night at a City Council meeting, and it needs more information before deciding whether Paso Robles would welcome such a facility.
