MINNESOTA - State corrections officials say they've discovered an underground tunnel at a facility in Stillwater. Officials say they've thwarted an apparent escape attempt. All inmates have been accounted for at the facility, which houses about 1,400 men. The Minnesota Department of Corrections has directed its special investigation office to look into the well-hidden tunnel, which was found Wednesday. Corrections Commissioner Joan Fabian declined to release additional details, citing the ongoing investigation. She praised staff for preventing any risk to public safety. Read more.
