| Suicide attempt circumstances reviewed |

WISCONSIN - A state agency and an out-of-county sheriff's department will review the circumstances surrounding an attempted suicide in the Sauk County jail last week. Shortly after 10 p.m. Feb. 7, jail staff discovered a 41-year-old male inmate hanging in his cell from a noose. "According to the jail, an inmate attempted to hang himself with a bed sheet," said Department of Corrections spokesman John Dipko. Read more.
