OREGON - Chemical fumes from cleaning compounds in a bathroom forced the evacuation of dormitory rooms at a minimum-security prison Thursday in Oregon. Spokeswoman Susi Hodgin at the Santiam Correctional Institution said a hazardous materials team from the Salem Fire Department went into the prison to determine what happened. Read more.
