OHIO - Reversing its plan to send 450 to 500 new inmates to Dayton, the state has decided not to double-bunk at two prisons in West Dayton. Meanwhile, Warden Lawrence Mack announced Tuesday, Feb. 26, that the Dayton Correctional Institution and the Montgomery Education Pre-Release Center will merge. Though no corrections officers or medical personnel will be let go, Mack said staff at the facilities will be reduced. Read more.
