| Budget reflects increased capacity |

MAINE - The Lincoln Sagadahoc Multicounty Jail Authority got its first look at the 2008-2009 budget for the Two Bridges Regional Jail Wednesday. The budget is the first prepared by new Corrections Administrator Col. Leonard LeGrand and is being proposed under duress by what LeGrand called a "major event." The event, which is burying any plans for the two-year-old regional jail in a cloud of uncertainty, is the state's announced plans to consolidate county jails and bring them under state control.
