| Staff reject employment offer |

NEW ZEALAND - More than 700 prison staff have rejected a new collective employment agreement offered by the Department of Corrections. The staff, who belong to the Public Service Association, include corrections officers, nurses and social workers. The PSA's national secretary, Richard Wagstaff, says the department's offer does not address the issues it has in retaining experienced staff members. Read more.
