VIRGINIA - Two weeks before he's due to report to the Board of Supervisors on alternatives to the county's proposed $12.8 million jail expansion, Sheriff Steve Gentry isn't tipping his hand. The sheriff, who was elected in November largely on his promise to find an alternative to the costly project, said he is still collecting information ahead of the Board of Supervisors' April 1 meeting.
