Bill to award inmates' volunteer work

WISCONSIN - Gov. Jim Doyle signed a bill into law Thursday that will recognize inmates' volunteer work toward sentence credit.

Assembly Bill 216 was an initiative of Dodge County Sheriff Todd Nehls to change the state statutes to recognize the Sheriff's Community Service Work Programs. Read more.
