MARYLAND - Collecting data to determine how many inmates return to the Cumberland area upon release from North Branch Correctional Institution and Western Maryland Correctional Institution is on the to-do list of Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correction Secretary Gary Maynard. During an interview with the Times-News on Tuesday, Maynard said that a study will be conducted to learn how many inmates return to the area.
