ARIZONA - The Arizona House of Representatives has sent a clear message by passing a bill with a 60-0 vote that would provide full-disability coverage to employees of the state's correctional facilities. HB 2117 would create a disability program for all badge-employee officers, who are defined as county detention officers, correctional service officers, state correctional program officers, parole/probation officers, youth corrections officers, youth program officers and city or town hall detention officers.
