CALIFORNIA - A statewide lockdown of all California correctional facilities - including Vacaville's two prisons - was lifted Monday with the exception of California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, site of a stabbing Thursday of three correctional officers and injury of a fourth. State corrections officials said the Tehachapi prison will remain on lockdown indefinitely. Inmates at other facilities, however, were returned to normal programming after investigators' preliminarily determined that the attack was isolated to Tehachapi. Read more.
