| Jail aims to link inmates with employers |

MAINE - At first thought, it may seem like a bad joke to conduct a job fair for inmates while they are inside a jail. But at the Two Bridges Regional Jail Thursday, Corrections Administrator Col. Leonard LeGrand made a good case for it. "Look," he said. "Here you have inmates ready to re-enter society. If they get out of jail and can go directly either to an employer they met here at the job fair or to the Career Center people, you increase your chances that inmate won't be back here." Read more.
