NEVADA - Director of Corrections Howard Skolnik made it clear at Wednesday's Interim Finance Committee meeting he didn't appreciate being second guessed on his proposed plan to save a total of $20 million out of his budget. Speaker Barbara Buckley, D-Las Vegas, raised the issue after Skolnik laid out the plan to shut down the Jean Prison and move those inmates along with the staff and administrators to High Desert Correctional Center.
