| Minister promises answers on Nova Scotia system |

NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA - Justice Minister Cecil Clarke is promising some answers today about Nova Scotia’s prison system. The minister said Wednesday he will make a statement after cabinet this afternoon. "There are several items that I will be looking to have addressed," Mr. Clarke told reporters Wednesday. The Chronicle Herald reported Wednesday the two corrections officers who escorting inmate Jerome Carvery last week were part-timers with only five months on the job and two days of basic security training.
