MICHIGAN - The Community Corrections program showed success in 2007, dealing with substance abuse offenders, and saving over 600 jail bed nights. According to the annual report accepted and placed on file by county commissioners at their board meeting Wednesday, the total grant award from the state Department of Corrections (DOC) Office of Community Corrections (OCC) for fiscal year 2007 was $63,336.
