NEW ZEALAND - The Corrections Minister is urging a committee investigating the Corrections Department not to get involved in a political football. A parliamentary select committee has launched the wide-ranging inquiry in the wake of several high-profile incidents involving prisoners and prison security. Phil Goff fears the inquiry will be sidetracked by the negativity of opposition parties who are highlighting the incidents.
