Officials seek solutions for juvenile center

PENNSYLVANIA - Blair County Commissioner Diane Meling said Friday there are two issues facing her board when it comes to the future of juvenile detention — one for the short term and one for the long term.

Meling said the commissioners must focus on the short-term issue first because, as of July 1, the county won’t have anyone to operate the home at Grant Avenue and 10th Street. Read more.
