| Inmate donations help police departments |

CONNECTICUT - Two eastern Connecticut police departments have received $3,000 donated by prison inmates to help investigate domestic abuse cases. The money was donated by inmates at the Brooklyn Correctional Institution to the United Services Domestic Violence Program. It was raised through benefit ice cream and soda sales at the prison.
