NEW ZEALAND - An escaped prisoner is still on the loose in New Zealand after a daring bolt to freedom using a rope made from knotted sheets to get over a wall topped with coiled barbed wire. Remand inmate Aaron Forden, 26, crawled through a ceiling cavity and into the tower at Auckland's Mt Eden Prison. He was spotted climbing down the wall by a member of the public, who called police early on Monday morning. But by the time they got there, Forden was well gone. Forden had been in jail since January on burglary and aggravated wounding charges. He has a firearms conviction. Read more.
