MICHIGAN - Sheriff Blaine Koops recently announced the 2008 “Officio Nostro Serviens” recipients. The award title loosely translates to serving our mission. The award is presented annually to a staff member from each division of the sheriff’s office who best serves the agency’s mission “to provide a full spectrum of corrections, law enforcement, and court services so that our community continues to grow and progress as a safe and secure place to live, work, and visit.” Read more.
