OKLAHOMA - A polite debate over how much board members should be involved in setting policy highlighted the monthly meeting of the Pottawatomie County Public Safety Center Trust Authority May 15. The discussion began when jail director Sid Stell told the board he has ended the compensatory time bank and begun paying overtime partly as an incentive for employees and partly to avoid large lump-sum payouts when employees leave.
