MICHIGAN - A Michigan judge has ordered a manslaughter defendant to have a picture of the woman he killed hanging in his prison cell for the next 10 years. Jackson County Circuit Judge John McBain went beyond the sentencing guidelines in sending David Ray Smith, 27, Albion to prison for 10-22 years for the June death of Diane Sigers. The Jackson (Mich.) Citizen Patriot said Friday that Smith was behind the wheel of a Cadillac that plowed into Sigers' smaller car at an intersection.
