WISCONSIN - Residents near the new Department of Corrections probation and parole field office had questions and concerns answered Tuesday night, but the biggest issue remained why it is happening in the first place. Comments from neighbors ranged from how it will affect property values to how to ensure safety for their children. However, all concerns came back to the question of why this location was chosen. The site selection was chosen because those were the people who won the bid," said Lance Wiersma, assistant regional chief for the department. "We're not going to be able to answer all your concerns.
