| Fugitive task force lands in Tenn. |

TENNESSEE - The Mid-South Fugitive Task Force in Memphis is expanding with an office in Jackson that will be staffed full time by a Jackson police officer, a Madison County sheriff's deputy and a deputy U.S. Marshal. U.S. Marshal David Jolley, of the Western District of Tennessee, announced the establishment of the Jackson office in a Tuesday press conference. He said the local members of the task force will focus on capturing people with outstanding warrants. Officers will also assist in finding suspects connected to violent crimes, he said. Read more.
