TEXAS - Tarrant County commissioners unanimously agreed to boost funding to a successful drunken-driving treatment program so more participants can enroll. The Felony Alcohol Intervention Program has closed its doors to new participants since December because of a lack of funding. Commissioners agreed to add $27,000 to the program's budget for this fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30. That will allow the program to immediately start adding about 70 participants, said program manager Stacy Pickett. Read more.
