ILLINOIS - Two state lawmakers are hitting the road to spread their message that Illinois should hold off on closing any prisons until a special panel takes a close look at existing correctional facilities. The road trip by Republican Sens. Dan Rutherford of Chenoa and Christine Radogno of Lemont was inspired by prison-related plans that Gov. Rod Blagojevich's administration unveiled this year.
