| County jail helps flood victims |

WISCONSIN - Over the past week, inmates from the Dane County Jail have been helping a number of local communities deal with the recent flooding. County Sheriff David Mahoney has allowed 79 inmates to help sandbagging efforts in the Madison area. Inmates have logged a total of 600 volunteer hours. Read more.
