FLORIDA - Investigators are asking for the public's help after a Central Florida juvenile detention corrections officer was mysteriously shot and critically injured, possibly by juveniles. Walner Pierrissant, who is a corrections officer at Orange County's Juvenile Detention Center, was shot by three people last week outside his home at the Timbersound Apartments, located on Raleigh Street. Some of Pierrissant's family said they want to know if some of the teens he guarded at work may be behind the shooting. Read more.
