NEW ZEALAND - A lost government top secret file with information on some of the country's most dangerous criminals has been found and handed back to the Corrections Department. Detective Inspector Bernie Hollewand says the folder was recovered from the Auckland offices of the New Zealand Herald. He says he expects inquiries, including a decision as to whether charges will be laid, to be completed early next week. Police say the original file was recovered from the Auckland offices of the New Zealand Herald, along with several copies. The 30-page dossier was allegedly found by a member of the public near Auckland's high court on Wednesday and allegedly contains the details of high profile criminals, including Paul Dally who murdered 13-year-old Karla Cardno and Bailey Kurariki.
