| Indiana commissioner takes Ky. job |

INDIANA - J. David Donohue has resigned as commissioner of the Indiana Department of Correction, a post he has held since 2005. Donohue, a Bardstown, Ky., native, is returning home to become warden of the Kentucky State Reformatory, the state's largest prison. He also will serve as an adviser to the Kentucky Criminal Justice Council. Donohue will replace Larry Chandler, who is retiring after a 26-year career with Kentucky Corrections. During his career, Chandler served as warden of three Kentucky prisons. He also helped design the Little Sandy Correctional Complex, and has served as an adjunct criminal justice professor at the University of Louisville. Read more.
