MARYLAND - Maryland State Police and local authorities are searching for a man who escaped from a state corrections officer on his way to court this morning in downtown Baltimore, according to state prison officials. Marcus Anderson, 22, of the 800 block of Herndon Court in South Baltimore, was scheduled for trial on handgun charges this afternoon in Courthouse East in the 100 block of N. Calvert St. Read more.
