| Two escapes in four days |

SOUTH CAROLINA - Two inmates have escaped from Department of Corrections facilities in just four days, and officials say there's no sign of either of them. Rayshawn James escaped from the Palmer Pre-release Center in Florence Saturday. James was in prison for selling crack. In Columbia, Barry Martin, Jr. escaped from the Manning Correctional Institution. He was serving a ten year sentence for breaking into a car. Rayshawn James and Barry Martin both escaped from minimum security facilities. Across the state, 3000 inmates are housed in these facilities. Read more.
