| FOP seeks to represent COs |

KENTUCKY - A local chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police is working against the clock so the F.O.P. can represent Corrections Officers and thousands of state workers. F.O.P supporters spoke out at an afternoon rally at Old Eddyville park, next to the State Prison. The group hopes to get enough signatures to put its name on a ballot then let state workers decide who they believe should represent them. Governor Steve Beshear selected A.F.S.C.M.E. to represent Corrections Officers and state law enforcement staff, but F.O.P. leaders say they deserve the job. Read more.
