Alston Wilkes Society

Founded in 1962, the Alston Wilkes Society, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing rehabilitative services to adults released from correctional facilities. It was originally led by a group of volunteers under the direction of the Reverend Eli Alston Wilkes Jr., a Methodist minister devoted to helping those in need. Today, the Alston Wilkes Society is the largest statewide agency of its kind.
