| Capacity review delays new project |

PENNSYLVANIA - Before Bucks County can think about the size and scope of a new corrections facility, officials need to know if there's enough water and sewer capacity to accommodate at least 500 inmates. At a prison oversight board meeting Thursday, Corrections Director Harris Gubernick said the project is on hold — and overcrowding persists — until questions about capacity are answered. In June, the average daily count was 797, although numbers are always in flux. The jail's capacity is about 780. When it comes to the building project, water shouldn't be a problem, said Jerry Anderson, the county's project manager.
