ZIMBABWE - Disaster is looming within the Zimbabwe Prison Service (ZPS) amid reports that some prisons have gone for several weeks without electricity, washing and bathing soap as well as sanitary wear. According to inmates who have been just released from prisons, courtesy of a recent controversial presidential amnesty, the situation threatens to turn into a humanitarian disaster. Read more.
