| Jail touts improvements with minors |

WASHINGTON, DC - The District of Columbia says it has improved conditions for minors held at the D.C. Jail. The city was criticized a year ago for problems with the way juveniles in custody were treated. According to a report being released Monday by the departments of Corrections and Youth Rehabilitation Services, an average of 27 minors are held at the jail every day.
