NEW ZEALAND - National's calling for heads to roll with fresh controversy again affecting the Corrections Department. It has been revealed the man who sparked the introduction of waist restraints for inmates in transit, was unrestrained when he attacked a prison officer while being transported earlier this month. The change was introduced after George Baker murdered Auckland teenager Liam Ashley. National Party Justice spokesman Simon Power says it is simply unbelievable and it seems lessons have not been learnt by the Corrections Department. Read more.
