TENNESSEE - Corrections Corp. of America will lay off 92 employees in Shelby County starting Monday, according to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Nashville-based Corrections Corp. of America (NYSE: CXW) operates Tall Trees, a 63-bed, non-secure juvenile facility for the Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County. It also operates the 200-bed Shelby Training Center in Memphis, which houses male offenders for the Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County. Read more.
