Community official adjusting to new duties

INDIANA - It takes a special person to become a special deputy.

"Growing up, I had always wanted to be in law enforcement," Clay Community Corrections Home Detention Officer Logan Whitman said.

Whitman, 22, has been a member of Community Corrections since September 2007, and was sworn in as a special deputy on April 30. The additional title has allowed Whitman to have extra responsibilities that he did not have before. Read more.
