CO attacked; juvenile escapes

KANSAS - A Juvenile Corrections Officer was attacked by a teen inmate, who then stole his car.

Before the attack, the 17-year-old inmate was taken to Wesley Medical Center to be checked for a possible injury. As he left with the officer, he complained his handcuffs were too tight. When the officer went to loosen them, the teen punched him in the face, jumped into officer's car, and took off. Read more.
