| N.C. prison receives accreditation |

NORTH CAROLINA - The Scotland Correctional Institution is one of 10 state prisons to receive accreditation this week from the American Correctional Association. The accreditation awards were presented during the association’s convention in New Orleans and mark the culmination of a year-long process for the prisons, according to a release from the state.
