| Judge won't stop releases |

KENTUCKY - A circuit judge in southeastern Kentucky this morning declined a request to stop the Department of Corrections from releasing certain felons from prison and parole supervision in all of the state’s 120 counties. Circuit Judge David Tapp did, however, issue a temporary injunction preventing the release in the three counties in which he has jurisdiction — Pulaski, Lincoln and Rockcastle — according to Eddy Montgomery, the commonwealth’s attorney for those three counties.
