CALIFORNIA - A new poll shows Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's popularity dropping, but most voters don't support recalling him. The Field Poll released Tuesday finds that 69 percent of California voters oppose recalling the governor, who was elected to office during the 2003 recall of then-Gov. Gray Davis. Twenty-nine percent support the recall effort by the state prison guards' union if it qualifies for a special election ballot. That's good news for a governor who has seen his approval ratings drop amid a record-long budget stalemate.
